The causes of chickenpox ( Varicella, chicken pox or
chicken-pox)
is varicella-zoster virus, a member
of herpesvirus family. Varicella-zoster virus also cause herpes
zoster (shingles) in adults. For the disease that is caused by virus, vaccination is always the best
prevention. Vaccination is able to protect people from dangerous disease that
can even kill you. Vaccine contains the weak or dead disease germs that will
boost human body’s defence system (immune system). With these germs in the
body, human’s immune system will build the antibodies to fight against, trap
and kill this type of virus. After the vaccination, there are always the
antibodies of that disease in the body, ready to fight off when the body
catches this type of virus. A person that was injected with vaccine will be
protected from any infection of the disease.

Chickenpox vaccine is now a must for children health. In fact, the kid under one year old that has chickenpox vaccine or his mother developed chickenpox before will rarely suffer this disease, there are some cases but they are all mild. On the contrary, children under one year old who does not has chickenpox vaccine or his mother with this disease before will face the risk of getting severe chickenpox.

Diagnosing the symptoms of chickenpox soon will help to give the best treatment and reduce the bad result on human health. The signs and symptoms of chickenpox are rather easy to realize. The earliest signs may not very clear: fever (it may reach to 105F), headache, loss of appetite. These soon symptoms do not last long. Then the red bumps, red spot will appear, first on the face, scalp, abdomen, trunk and on spread to the rest of human later. The red spot will be filled with a yellowish fluid and become blisters. When these blister broken, the fluid goes out and spread the virus. The broken blister is called ulcer with the crust on it. Finally, the ulcers dry and is healed.
